Reference output is the supplier’s published performance for a configuration, not a guaranteed rate for every product and pack. The accepted rate should be confirmed using the actual dose, product condition, container flow, nozzle count and downstream line during an agreed test.
Different piston or cylinder modules cover different dose windows. Overlap lets a buyer choose the module that places the normal dose in a practical part of the stroke. The selected module also affects refill time, change parts and how far the machine can move between SKUs.
