One filling nozzle
A single product path simplifies the first comparison but places container presentation and cycle timing at the centre of the output test.
A compact pneumatic piston filling configuration for viscous products, with selectable cylinder modules and operator-controlled container presentation. The final machine must be confirmed against the actual product, dose, pack and test method.
The LU-GT1 is a single-nozzle pneumatic piston filler published by Lancing for viscous liquids and pastes. It is a reference route for batch production where an operator can present containers and the product can refill the selected cylinder consistently. Suitability, output and accuracy remain application-dependent.
A single product path simplifies the first comparison but places container presentation and cycle timing at the centre of the output test.
The cylinder draws a defined stroke of product and discharges it through the selected valve and nozzle.
Published modules cover small to large fills. The correct module is selected for the required SKU family rather than treating the full range as one cylinder.
Product temperature, particles, aeration, stringing, refill and container opening must be checked with representative samples.

The configuration may suit smaller production batches, development work, contract packing and several SKUs where an operator can control the cycle. It is not automatically suitable for every thick product: chamber refill, particle passage, stringing, nozzle cut-off and cleaning need to be tested.
Compare the route with the semi-automatic paste filling guide and the product sample trial guide.
Select the module that covers the required dose family with a practical stroke, then verify refill and repeatability at the smallest and largest production fills. A project spanning widely separated doses may need more than one cylinder set.
No. The published LU-GT1 is pneumatic and requires a stable compressed-air supply. Confirm pressure, flow capacity, air quality, connection and isolation requirements for the final installation.
Time accepted filled containers using the normal product, dose, container and operator method. Record refill delays, adjustments, drips, rejected fills and any interruption for product replenishment.
Send representative product and packs with the required dose range and output. Lancing can confirm the cylinder, valve, nozzle and product-feed assumptions that need to be included in a trial or quotation.
Send the product, pack, fill range and production target for a configuration review.
